Sunshine Beach is located just off the David Low Way and as such has little or no through traffic. The village is bounded on its southern border by a creek which separates it from Sunrise Beach (not to be confused with Sunshine Beach) and on its northern border by the famous Noosa National Park. Only those intending to holiday at Sunshine tend to come into the village, although many a day tripper is pleasantly surprised at what they find.

Finally, should you want to venture out of Sunshine Beach, there is a bus stop just opposite Costa Nova Apartments which runs on the half hour into Noosa Junction and Noosa's famous Hasting Street. Or, alternatively, take a taxi.
